Feng Shui Friday: 3 Simple Ways to Feng Shui With Food

Happy Feng Shui Friday!!

Did you know you can improve your energy by optimizing the Feng Shui of your food?? You can achieve this by applying some simple Feng Shui principles!

1. Elemental Balance~

Just as you would paint a room or add throw pillows to a chair, you can create plates full of many colors. Fruits and veggies come in every color of the rainbow so use them to your advantage when planning and preparing meals. Cooking with an array of colors will help optimize your Food Feng Shui!

2. Yin & Yang~

In food Yin represents mild flavors while Yang would represent bolder flavors. You can find these kind of balances in dishes combining flavors like “Sweet and Sour”. Balance in food and Feng Shui is very important and can also be created using textures like soft and crispy.

3. Aromatherapy~

What’s more pleasing to the senses than the smell of delicious food cooking? When you cook with highly fragrant seasoning like garlic and ginger the scents they create are not only delightful but rid the home of negative energy and fill them (and you!) with positive energy.

One last Fun Fact~

Your stove and it’s burners represent wealth. Use all of your burners evenly and repair any that may be broken to stimulate your wealth energy!

    Interesting concept. I have never heard of Feng Shui in food to be honest, but this is definitely something to incorporate! 😀

    i love the idea of using all burners. I realize today that i use mostly 2 of the 4 burners lol
