In other words, how do you stop focusing on what is present in your reality if you want to create something new? How do you look away from the things that are staring you right in the face?

So today, I will share some thoughts on how to do just this.

    Hi Andrea, this is a great idea, and I wanted to say that I really enjoy your videos. I do have a question though… If you change the label of something you don`t want anymore in your life to something good, won’t that attract even more of this thing, now that you have “turned” it into something positive? Let’s say I want to have a relationship and I feel lonely, and lonely is a bad thing for me. If I change my feelings from lonely as being good, e.g. I can do whatever I want with my time, I have freedom and so on, won’t that attract more of this loneliness to me?

    Good question Melina, what will actually happen is you will simply neutralize the negative reactivity-allowing you to “let go” of the negative though rather than dwell on it. When you are no longer pushing against what you don’t want it will disappear, or it will shift to be reflective of your more positive state.

    In other words, if feeling lonely makes you feel bad-and now you don’t feel bad about the thing that caused you to feel lonely-it can no longer manifest itself in a way that puts you in that “bad feeling” state.
