No Need to Rush! Get Into Alignment BEFORE You Pull the Trigger
Last night I was reminded that there’s no need to rush, no matter what the “deadline” is. When you are in vibrational alignment, the timing will take care of itself!
My husband and I had been planning on taking our family for a vacation right around Christmas time. About a month ago, he took time off of work, and we put the dates on the calendar. We were all set to book our tickets.
Then, the unthinkable happened. I threw my back out! UGH!
Now, I almost never get severely sick or injured, so this really threw me for a loop. My mobility was highly restricted for several weeks.
Side note: I have a hunch this injury was related somewhat to how much attention I paid to all of the drama of the presidential election (I just couldn’t help myself this time, the show was too good to miss LOL).
Feeling rushed to make a decision
Anyway, my husband wanted to purchase the tickets, but I just didn’t feel confident that I would be ok to sit on a plane for a long period of time. The idea of travel just didn’t feel good to me. So, I told him to wait.
“Let’s hold off until I know for sure that I am better, because right now the idea of booking a flight is stressing me out,” I said. I don’t like to make decisions or plans unless it feels right, after all.
As time went on, I could tell my husband was becoming more and more impatient. After all, we did want to fly around Christmas, and getting flights this time of year is more expensive and flights are more crowded. He didn’t want to wait.
However, I just wasn’t feeling it, and I wouldn’t let him rush me. Again, I know if I don’t feel good about a decision, it isn’t the right time.
Waiting for vibrational alignment
Fortunately, over the last week I’ve started to really feel better and better. I’ve been moving around, I’m a lot more flexible and the sun is shining as it should be. So last night, I said “go for it, book the tickets!”
Wouldn’t you know it? The tickets were far cheaper than we would have anticipated, even if we booked them last month when he wanted to book them.
Even better, we have enough miles to pay for our entire family of four to travel, and we still have a bunch of miles left! Still more icing on the cake: we got our seats upgraded for FREE.
No need to rush!
The moral of the story? There’s no need to rush. If it doesn’t feel right, wait to make a decision. It doesn’t matter if “time is running out.” Time is entirely relative, after all!
When you are feeling good and you are certain you want to pull the trigger on a decision, the timing will be right. You’ll get the best deal, the best seats and the best experience. Vibrational alignment is the key to good timing, rushing around is absolutely not.
So next time you feel the pressure to do something you just aren’t ready to do take a deep breath and remind yourself “no need to rush.”
Manage your life by following your feelings, not by predetermined timetables. Your feelings, after all, are the most reliable guide you have access to. They will navigate you toward what you want if you’re willing to listen to them.
XO, Andrea

This message is perfect timing! I have a lot of work to do for school and sometimes I feel like I have to rush. But now I know when I am in alignment, I don’t need to.

Yeah, this makes sense!! All i want to know is that how i get to hear the inner voice/intuition properly. It’s easier to be led like that I feel, we would be more aligned with the universe. The bothering/concerns would immediately vanish and we would be able to rejoice the present which is so important.
Thank you!!

Hi Anonymous…just keep reaching for thoughts and actions that feel better. If something feels bad, abandon it and reach for something that feels better. That’s all there is to it, it just takes practice as many of us have spent years not following our feelings 🙂

Hi Andrea!
First, I would like to thank you for writing all of these wonderful blog posts! They are so helpful, freeing and full of wisdom.
I’m in the same place as you were about buying flight tickets. My situation concerns whether to look for another job, stay in this one that I hate or just jump into what I’m passionate about, which music and art supplies to purchase, how to earn extra money to move, etc. There are quite a few areas where I feel uncertain of what to do, so I’m holding back from forcing myself to make a decision right now. It’s difficult because I’m afraid I’ll miss out on good opportunities, lowered prices and wasted time. I keep reminding myself though that I’ll know sooner than later, and when I’m aligned with the right decisions for me, acting on them will feel much easier and more natural. Right now I’m still at the stage where I’m playing around with different options in my head.
Nick.
Lol, another one of your posts right when I needed it. Synchronicity.xD Thanks a ton Andrea. Also I hope you are okay now. Get well soon. 🙂

Hi Anonymous:) If I were in your shoes I think I would stay where you are until you develop certainty. In the meantime, I would do my best to try and elevate how I felt about my current situation. The better you feel about where you are, the better the place you shall go in the future:) XO
