Everyone here is your teacher

It is truly amazing that everyone has something to teach and that you can learn a thing from every soul that is in the globe. But the question is, are you willing to be open and receptive to what they are here to teach?

To a significant extent, the current state of some of your most important relationships is a good gauge of how open and receptive you are being to what the people in your life are here to teach.

Everyone has something to teach and it is something that they’ve learned in their own time. As such, it is in the healthy and time-saving interest of the person who has something to learn to be attentive and receptive.

Even when you perceive that you have nothing to learn from a person, they still have something to teach because the teaching of nothing is still a very valuable lesson to learn.

Everyone has something to teach but that does not mean that you should carry yourself around being proud that because people can learn from you, that you shouldn’t be humble and open to what you can learn from them.

About the Author:  My name is Babajide Faseyi.  I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19.  In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search.  I read voraciously.  After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now.  And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began.  The links to my facebook pages where my writings are posted are –facebook.com/bababajide and facebook.com/babajideinc
