Miracle message #19 forces us to ask ourselves if we’re afraid to “Let go of the pressure you’ve put on yourself and release your inner child?!”
It can be a challenge in the world today not to overthink things with heavy issues such as the disruption of our eco system and the catastrophe that is our political system weighing heavy on our hearts. Add the days never ending to-do lists and daily tasks to the mix and it can seem impossible to witness the joy and happiness that the world is cascading down on you in so many ways.
Whenever I start to feel myself becoming overwhelmed and my heart getting heavy I use a tool I learned in Miracles Now that teaches us to “Be more childlike.” It suggests we close our laptops, turn off the phone, and tap into our childlike self. As a teacher to elementary school children and mother of two I know first hand that children have an enormous capacity to look at life through playful eyes.

Most of us are caught up in the fear-based belief “I have to work hard to get ahead.” As a “Spiritjukie” I’ve learned to measure my success on how much fun I’m having! Maybe your fear is already creeping into your mind as you read this now saying “It doesn’t feel right to play instead of work!” I mean isn’t it irresponsible to play instead of work??
The truth is just the opposite; we experience true abundance in our life-flow and instantly reduce resistance and raise our vibration when we play. We can all make the time in our day to be more curious, be more present and don’t even have to leave our desk to take a daydream break!
Not only is the vibration of play good for our emotional and energetic well-being but making time to play sends a message to the Universe that you trust that abundance is on it’s way!
Recently I’ve discovered a practice referred to as EFT: the Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as tapping. This tool requires that you tap on specific points that align with your body’s energy meridians. I want to share one of these techniques today to help inspire you to be more playful and start to allow abundance to flow into your life!
Use the script that follows and tap on the specific areas of your body as you say the suggested phrase.
Start by lightly tapping each point approximately seven times repeating the following phrase, “Even though it feels strange to play instead of work, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.”
Continue tapping on each point and say each of these out loud as you do:
Eyebrow: “What if I start to be more playful…”
Side of Eye: “Maybe it would feel good to be more playful…”
Under Eye: “I sure could use some relaxation right now…”
Nose: “I want to want to be more playful.”
Collarbone: “I’m ready and willing to be more playful.”
Under Arm: “I choose to feel inspired to be more playful.”
Head: “I choose to love who I am when I choose to be more playful.”
It is my wish that you will use this taping technique to access more positive vibrations with the Law of Attraction and start to look at life with more playful eyes! I promise you’ll feel more relaxed, access your creativity and get back to “adulting” with a refreshed outlook and improved energetic vibration!
