My Favorite “Feng Shui Friday Tips” for High Vibe Living!

My Favorite “Feng Shui Friday Tips” for High Vibe Living!” was written by guest contributor, Jennifer Cleveland.

Over the last couple weeks I’ve been moving into a new place, which has given me the opportunity to clear clutter and keep only the things that are useful, I believe to be beautiful and that bring me joy! This goes for both the objects in my home and my emotions. I’m really falling in love with my new living space and the idea of creating a new life! I’m only blocks from the beach, my yard has been replaced with a pool and I’ve cleaned up my routine and created space for fun activities for the boys and I and some “room to relax!” My favorite crystals are set out to remind me of the abundance found in nature and the vase of fresh flowers just inside my front door reminds me to look for the beauty in every moment. I’ve put together a list of my favorite “Feng Shui Friday Tips” with the intention to inspire a joyful and meaningful high vibe lifestyle…

1.)  Lively up yourself! Use an alarm clock that wakes you gently with an uplifting song. Set the volume loud enough to interrupt sleep but not startle you out of bed! One of my favorites is “Could you be loved” by Bob Marley, what’s your wake-up song??

2.)  Placing a pair of pink candles in the back right hand corner of your room will add both a spark and a glow to your love life while attracting a new flame if you’re single.

3.)  Red is the most powerful color in Feng Shui and brings the energy of joy, passion and sexual desire into your home.

4.)  Drift smoothly like “Shui” shifting your focus away from the future and let go of expectations, anxieties begin to evaporate and we find peace and enjoyment in the present moment.

5.)  Sprinkle a little sea salt in the floorboards of your car to absorb any negative energy left behind by other passengers and a bottle of water to promote clarity & filter stagnant energy caused by electronics.

6.)  “Your Vibe attracts your Tribe” Placing the elements metal and water & the colors grey and white in the Northwest Bagua area of your home will attract beneficial people and new friends.

7.)  Feng Shui your inbox…if you’re in deep like me be patient and enjoy the process, you never know what treasures could be hiding in there! Once you’ve cleared the clutter keep the good vibes flowing by checking emails daily and respond or delete.

8.)  Learn to say No! Create a schedule that feels full vs. overwhelming.

9.)  Have fun, be spontaneous, start a conversation with someone you’ve never met.

10.) Unblock stagnant energy by creating something! Being in a creative state of mind helps us to relax and flow freely.

11.) Wanderlust…there’s no better time then NOW to plan your next adventure!

12.) Have a strong forgiveness game! When you forgive you don’t change the past, you change the future.

13.) Cook with highly fragrant seasonings like garlic & ginger…the scents they give are not only delightful but rid the home of negative energy and fill them (and you!) with positive energy.

14.) Create a weekly meal plan that will generate the lifestyle you desire (You deserve to eat well and take care of yourself!) If you choose to incorporate animal products into your diet buy grass fed dairy and meats.

15.) Feng Shui is all about energy and exercise is the best way to get your chi flowing!!

16.) Know the importance of a daily “to do list” and structured schedule but learn from Feng Shui that life is easier when you’re in the flow…stay organized but allow room for change. Things come up, toddlers have meltdowns and what worked last week or even yesterday may not work out as planned today (it’s ok!!!)

17.) Put pen to paper and write a “Thank You” letter to the Universe for what you already have. Realizing how rich your life is already demonstrates to source energy that you are ready to receive more!

18.) Go Smudge Yourself!

In 2010 I was chosen to attend the Michael Coles Step Up summit where my spirit was awoken to chase my dreams of becoming an educator and motivator! My successful career in the salon industry has lent itself to my most recent journey of earning a college degree; this fall I will graduate with an Associates of Arts degree from EFSC and have been accepted into my bachelors program at the University of Central Florida.

I have kept my deep love for movement alive over the years; In 2013 I was a performer for international DJ Chan Ji Kim in Sound and Space and more recently as a yoga guide at both Peace Place Counseling & Wellness and the Yoga Surf School.

These days when I’m not playing on my mat or balancing my duties as a domestic goddess I can be found in my back yard garden, and chasing the Florida sun.
