I Will Learn the Easy Way
“I Will Learn the Easy Way” was written by guest contributor, Babajide Faseyi.
I have gotten to the point where I am ready to say before all of you, that I will not learn the hard way anymore. I am through with not learning the easy way. Especially when the easy way is right there for me to choose.
I have learned the hard way so many times in my life, when I could have just learned the easy way. And the funny thing is that the easy way is always there, just as the hard way is also always there. So it is just a matter of which one to seek, and which one to choose.
The fact that there is an easy way means that there is a lot of love in stock for me somewhere. And the fact that there is a hard way also means that there is love for me also, because it means that I am loved and I am respected enough to be given that choice.
Listen; I solemnly declare before you and you and you, that I am through and through and through. I sign on the dotted line that says that I hereby declare myself as the sole property of the way that is easy.
Life is so much easier when I let go of my aggression, and allow myself to soften my heart.
Blessings, Babajide

About the Author: My name is Babajide Faseyi. I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19. In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search. I read voraciously. After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now. And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began.
