Take only what you need
“Take only what you need” was written by guest contributor, Babajide Faseyi.
Last night I wanted bagels and a healthy type of butter from the store but I ended up leaving the store without bagels and butter, even though they had exactly what I wanted at the store.
All I wanted to eat last night was bagels and butter and I knew in my heart that was what I wanted to eat. But I convinced myself to leave the store without what I wanted, but also with a lot more than I needed.
Lately I’ve been noticing people walking back home from the store carrying bags that are heavier than they can carry and I think, why? Why not buy what you need for only a few days and then see where you are in a few days, and then go back to the store at the time when you need to?
That way, going to the store can be a relaxing activity or a meditation that you do more frequently, as opposed to going straight home because you’ve already stocked up your home with many extras.
I convinced myself not to buy what I wanted last night because I went from being focused on the present to being focused on the future. What I want to eat tonight became what do I want to cook tomorrow and before I knew it, what I want to cook tomorrow became I going to cook this tonight and leave what I really want to eat tonight alone.
Blessings, Babajide

About the Author: My name is Babajide Faseyi. I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19. In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search. I read voraciously. After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now. And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began. I love this perspective too Bobby, I used to be a crazy shopping hoarder. This keeps it all in perspective, doesn’t it? XOXO

Hi Andrea ,
I have been suffering hair loss since 2011 and I tried every treatment but everything failed.
Now ,I want to use law of attraction to get my hair back.
Is that possible?
Love,
Step

Yes Steph, it is possible to attract anything. I might suggest confronting whatever your biggest fear is about hair loss before proceeding. The physical reflects the perspective of the mental. All physical conditions are representations of our internal hopes and fears. Figure out what the fear is, and you can transform it 🙂
