The people you surround yourself with…
“The people you surround yourself with” was written by guest contributor Babajide Faseyi.
Why do you spend time with people who do not uplift you and raise your spirits?
Why do you give your energy to people who only drain you of your valuable energy?
Why do you not seek those who naturally welcome you and do not ignore or turn you away?
Why do you see those who are humble and kind as being too cheap and less in stature for you to associate with?
If the people in your life are bricks and you are going to build a house, would this be the house that you would be happy to live in for the rest of your life?
Blessings, Babajide

About the Author: My name is Babajide Faseyi. I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19. In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search. I read voraciously. After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now. And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began.
