Automatic Ways to Kill Your Own Vibe
1. Griping about all of life’s little problems.
Believe it or not, ANYTHING that happens to you can be a blessing, regardless of what it looks like on the surface. Automatically labeling events and circumstances as “negative,” “toxic,” or “annoying” blocks you from experiencing the good that can come. As soon as we get into complaining-mode, our vibrations lower, making the good invisible to us. When life hands you lemons, look for the gift they bring with them.
2. Doing something you really do not want to do.
If you find yourself saying “yes” to obligations and activities you have a strong desire NOT to do, you are killing your vibe. Trust your intuition: if it feels like a good plan move forward, but if your inner voice is screaming “NOOOO!” do something else.
It might feel weird to say “no,” and you might worry about hurting other people’s feelings. However, you will be of no use to anyone if you show up in a low vibrational state. For your sake, and the sake of everyone around you, keep that vibe as high as possible!
3. Ignoring your needs.
How often do you ignore hunger pains, your sleepiness or your desire to have fun and/or comfort? When your body and mind are signaling discomfort, listen! Marching on without taking the time to take care of yourself is a one-way ticket to a lowered vibration.

4. Listening to angry music.
There are times when listening to angry music can be cathartic, especially when we are overwhelmed or frustrated. That being said, angry music evokes angry feelings! Make it your mission to listen to uplifting music MUCH more frequently than you indulge in angry music.
5. Watching the news.
Turn on the news and you’ll see the worst of the worst. Anything sad, dramatic, or aggravating will be there to drag you down to a level you don’t want to be at. Trust me, there’s a lot more going RIGHT with the world than is going wrong with it. Be a part of what’s going right and keep your vibe elevated-watch something else!

Hi Andrea, thanks for the blog post. ^^
I’ve read somewhere that we have to be careful what we eat too. Bad food lowers our vibrations and good ones can raise ours.
But it is always hard to refrain from delicious foods which are usually bad for health…:(

Hi Pris! I actually take a different viewpoint with this one. I think potentially ANY food could be a high vibrational food, it just depends how we feel about it. If we feel bad about eating a certain kind of food, we become entrenched in a lowered state because of our association of that food. If we feel good about a food, we benefit from the food of choice!
This would explain why what we believe is “good and bad” nutrition changes over time. There are always new rules about what is good and what is not.
Just some “food” for thought! LOL XO

Hi Andrea. Thanks for the good post.
I have some other points:
1. Consumption of any kind of drugs, including Alcohol, Nikotin.
2. Dehydration (not drinking enough water)
3. Staying too long or spending time more than necessary with negative people.
4. Not giving your mind enough pauses from thinking during the day.
5. And there are 2 things I’m still thinking about them how to handle and analyse:
chronical pain and unwanted environmental noises( for example hearing sth for many hours in home because some building projects are going on in the neighbourhood) maybe you take this one as a topic for a video? I have seen people with pain who are not able to think of anything more but the pain. And it’s than like a cycle.

Thanks for sharing these points Parissa! As for the chronic pain, yes I have experienced that and I know exactly what you are talking about. That is a good idea for a video, thank you <3
