NEWS ALERT: No One Controls You But You!
It’s time for some real talk here today: no one controls you but you!
One of the biggest things that disempowers people and disconnects them from their strength is the belief that other people are in charge of their lives.
It’s the belief that your parents control you, or your teachers, or your governments. It’s the belief that you have to do what other people say, you have to follow the rules and you aren’t fully free to do as you please.
Additionally, it’s the belief that someone or group is conspiring to ruin your life or enslave you in some capacity, and that you are helpless to escape their clutches.
Sorry, but this is all bullshit. I said it. It’s bullshit.
But what about the rules?
Sure, we live in a reality where we have come to believe that we have to do certain things, like pay taxes, follow laws and listen to our parents, but these are simply limitations we ourselves have agreed to follow.
You can and will be enslaved by others when you turn over the keys to your decision-making, but this is of your own doing, and not someone else’s. You are too powerful to be controlled, if you choose to be in control of your own life.
In truth, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. So stop thinking all of the “rules” are required, because they aren’t. You are a human being capable of doing many things outside of the norm, if that is what you want to do.
Furthermore, know that if you follow someone else’s order, you are doing it from your own choosing. Again, no one controls you but you.
After all, plenty of people break the rules. I break rules all the time, and I guarantee so do you. Chances are there are dozens of times inside of each day when you drive over the speed limit, tell a white lie or do something someone told you not to do.
Ultimately, you choose your own rules.
At the end of the day, you and you alone are in charge of the choices you make. Not your parents, not your legislators, not your friends. You get to decide which rules to follow, which ones to bend, and which ones to break.
Give yourself the psychological freedom of knowing that it is YOU that knows the best path for you, not some source outside of yourself. You know when you need to do what you need to do. You know what the right path is for your life.
Remind yourself today that the only thing that matters is what YOU think. If you don’t like someone else’s standards, set different ones for yourself. If you agree with the standards, keep them!
At the end of the day, you get to create the rules for your own life, whether or not you realize that just yet. Your highest path is to follow what works for you. Period.
You are an infinitely powerful creative being, and you can do whatever the hell you want. Embrace this idea, and see where it takes you!

Andrea, I totally agree! Due to my own beliefs I allowed other people to control me constantly. However, when I learned about the law of attraction I came to the conclusion that it was all “my own fault” . At the same, the universe was very severe with me in order to test me, especially regarding my workplace.
Today I can say that I have passed another important exam in life and am more relaxed now when dealing with this issue. Thank you again for your great inspiration.

That’s great news Jennifer-thanks for sharing! Yes, it may take some “time” to fully accept total control in all areas of life, but that is ok. As long as we are on the path of accepting it, we will find more and more of it. Best wishes to you XO
