Manifest Better Traffic (& Less Road Rage!)

Do you hate being stuck in traffic?  Who doesn’t!  In fact, I used to have the absolute worst road rage.  It felt like I was always sitting in traffic and getting cut off by rude drivers.

Fortunately, though, I’ve found that you can apply the principles of the Law of Attraction to driving and traffic, and this has made traveling infinitely more pleasant for me.

Here are three strategies I recommend to manifest better traffic (and less road rage too!) . I hope you find them just as useful as I have!

1.  Avoid complaining about traffic and bad drivers altogether!

At first it may be a bit of work to bite your tongue, but with just a little practice it will get much, much easier.  Soon, complaining about driving conditions will be a distant memory.

2. Say “thank you”

Express gratitude (out loud) every time a driver lets you cut in, every time the light turns green at precisely the right moment and any other time driving conditions work out in your favor. Sure, it may seem like you’re just talking to yourself, but this kind of positive affirmation will do a world of good!

3. Play devil’s advocate

When someone’s driving is irritating you or causing you distress, take a moment to think of a possible reason for their driving that evokes some sympathy from you.  I always say something like “maybe he’s sick and not feeling well ” “maybe she’s late for work,” or “maybe her kids are screaming in the car and she’s distracted.”

Immediately my vibe will shift from irritation and annoyance to acceptance.  Then, guess what?  The driver usually moves immediately out of my way as if on cue!

These are amazing tips! Its actually (from my experience and learnings) one of the first things you can see tangible results in using the LOA with. Parking spots and traffic. I love the tip of using acceptance. I used to (and sometimes still do, cant lie) get pissed off when someone drives like an AHOLE (Im in Jersey, fairly close to NY so the traffic here -_______-) … however I find whenever I imagine they are late to work or late for an important event or perhaps they are on their way to the hospital and I am luckily going freely about my day I am much happier. Like great! I am just on schedule for whatever it is I am up to. 🙂

Awesome! Thanks Bobby! Thats funny your comment of being from Jersey…most of my friends from Jersey have serious road rage LOL! I’ve definitely found that playing devil’s advocate helps keep things in perspective for me <3

    Hi Andrea,

I’m new to your site and to thinking about using the Law of Attraction and raising my vibration. I’d be curious to get your reaction to the following. How about using your mind and logic to plan your time and route to avoid traffic. My point is that isn’t achieving/success/results in life also very much a function of looking ahead and taking practical steps? I could imagine someone thinking “vibrationally,” “I will become a great computer programmer,” rather than going out and taking the practical steps to acquire these skills. I suppose this is not an either or matter, but would welcome your thoughts if you care to share.

Hi Trey! Excellent question. I’ve found that in any moment things can work out for you, so it doesn’t really matter if you plan or you don’t plan. In fact, it often works better when you don’t plan, because you stay open to making choices based on what feels vibrationally appropriate. My advice is to leave when you feel like leaving, and when you feel yourself tense up, do whatever you can to relax. Just remember, in any moment you can find yourself on the perfect route, so do your best to manage the current moment, and trust that you will be able to take care of future moments as they come. XO
