Other than by example, how can we help others overcome suffering and have a positive attitude?
Andrea Schulman
Great question Sandra. Yes, example is a great way to help. Also, focus on the other person’s positive qualities. Become more aware when they are laughing smiling and feeling good. Your focus will draw more of these times from them. Additionally, try to avoid talking about their pain too much…that will also help:) -Andrea

I totally agree with all 20 points (and as a individual this is the foundation i radiate on) I think the book “The Monk Who sold his ferrari” shows a good way in pratice how to sum this up in practical life.
The only thing i feel is missing in the realization of others (and why i say so is beacuse its an important part in feeling that one belongs, wich is essential for self acceptance) from an introveted perspective. I think “The dictionary of obscure sorrows perfectly defines the element i feel is missing)
“sonder”
n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
