When You Look for Problems, You’ll Find Them!
There are a lot of people out there who chronically look for problems.
They’re looking obsessively for a possible error in the checkbook. They may be micromanaging they people who work for them, always on the lookout for mistakes. Perhaps they are looking through their partner’s phone, looking for evidence of wrongdoing or cheating.
Problems are funny things though. Usually they don’t exist until we seek them out. It’s when you look for problems you are most likely to find them.
This of course, is all due to the Law of Attraction.
If we are spending our time looking for problems, that is the focus we are putting out into the universe. As a result, the universe matches us in our focus and gives us more problems to deal with.
In other words, he won’t cheat if you aren’t worried about him cheating. She won’t mess up the books if you aren’t hovering over her concerned about her work. You won’t make mistakes when you are relaxed and in the flow.
The choice to look for problems creates a vicious loop that is impossible to get out of until you choose to stop looking for the problems.
Breaking the cycle.
I mention this today because this knowledge has made a tremendous shift in how I handle my day-to-day.
I used to be a master problem-finder. I would hunt for inconsistencies and flaws in other’s work and even in conversation. I would frequently triple and quadruple-check my own work, re-reading and re-editing until the point almost insanity.
In a way, this is a form of perfectionism-at least it was for me. We want things to be perfect, so we keep looking for problems to solve. However, the more we try to solve the problems, the more problems appear.
Any woman who has obsessively tried to put up the perfect ponytail knows what I am talking about. As soon as you get the hair tied back and double-check, another strand is out of place, or you find a bump in the back.
You spend so much time trying to fix your ponytail your arms and shoulders get sore. Eventually you have to give up and walk out of the house with an imperfect ponytail anyway, even though you spent 15 minutes fixing it over and over again.

Today, however, I try to take things much easier, and as a result I encounter problems on a much less significant basis. I put my ponytail up now and keep it moving, so to speak (and it comes out looking much better than it did before).
Give yourself (and others!) a break.
So please, do yourself a favor and stop looking for problems as much as you can. The more you look for them, the more will materialize. Headaches and hassles about when we obsessively look for problems.
And if you want to take this work one step further, I’ll give you one more suggestion: Instead of choosing to look for problems to fix look for things that came out wonderfully.
Notice what went right. Comment on what you see is positive. Let the Law of Attraction amplify the good, while you let go of the bad.

Yes Andrea, absolutely agree with you. I’ve this habit of thinking much ahead and getting worried. Be it my life partner, new job etc. But this idea is simply amazing. I would remind myself every time i get those pensive thoughts. I feel its so necessary to be replaced to watch out the wonderful things. If you’ve more suggestions on this please do share. I’m really grateful for this!!
Thank you so much!!!

Andrea hey! You are wonderful at what you do and I cant believe how much youve helped me!
I have a little question. I’ve been trying to manifest my ex back and while I was with him everyone around me told me him and I were meant to be. Everybody loved us, and they still did even after we broke up. But now that im trying to manifest him back, all my friends are being super negative. They keep telling me to leave itbecause he has another hookup, who apparently (not so sure) is getting closer to him (hope not). He still has feelings for me that’s obvious, but with this other person involved and my friends being harsh, my manifesting mojo is confused.Do I just give up? Help!
