It’s Just a Reflection, Nothing More
Here’s a mantra I’ve been using lately when I feel my mind wander to a negative place: “It’s just a reflection, nothing more.”
It works wonders for me, so maybe it will for you too.
I like this mantra because there’s such a human tendency to get wrapped up in the details. To worry about what’s coming, or what happened. To think that the issues in our lives, our communities, our countries and our world are somehow big, significant and important.
But they’re not.
Why not? Because they’re just a reflection, nothing more.
My reality is simply a projection of my consciousness. Every little detail, every piece of the puzzle, is simply a reflection of what’s going on within my consciousness.
So, truthfully, none of it matters. Why not? Because it’s all in my mind and because it all can be changed.
What’s going on right now is simply a reflection of what’s going on right now in my consciousness, but my consciousness is constantly evolving.
There are no universal truths about who we are, what we are, where we’ve been and where we’re going. It changes, moment-to-moment, thought-to-thought, feeling-to-feeling. Your reality is not the same as it was a year ago, a week ago or even a minute ago. You are constantly expanding, and your reality is just a projection of this growth.
So the next time you find yourself worrying about what was said or what was done, remember-it’s just a reflection of your consciousness, and it will change.
The next time you find yourself thinking things are beyond your control, remember-it’s just a reflection of your consciousness, and it will change.
The next time it all looks hopeless, remember-it’s just a reflection of your consciousness, and it will change.

There’s no need to worry, and there’s no reason to stress. What appears to be fact right here in the moment will look very different down the road. The evolution of your reality is inevitable.
So, when things look grim remember-it’s just a reflection, and it will change. Breathe, and let go.
Let your consciousness shift back into a calmer, more accepting place, and reality will quickly follow.
