3 Signs that Fear is Getting in the Way of Your Dream Life

Is fear getting in the way of your dream life?

When you really get down to it, in each moment we are making the same decision over and over again. The decision? To move either in the direction of what we want, or to move away from what we don’t want.

In other words, our lives are created from the same choice repeated again and again: do we choose love, or do we choose fear?

When we choose love as our default route in life, life just gets better and better thanks to the Law of Attraction. When you focus on options you love, the universe delivers more and more for you to love.

However if we choose fear on repeat, life can really start to suck! Trust me here, I definitely speak from experience.

Now, if you are like I was a few years ago, fear may be a major player in your life. Hopefully not, but if it is it’s my pleasure to let you know it certainly doesn’t have to be anymore.

So with that being said, today I’d like to share with you 3 signs that fear is getting in the way of your dream life. Additionally, I’ll link up some suggestions on how to resolve these fears. I hope you find these suggestions most useful.

1. You wake up in the morning with a pit in your stomach.

Each new morning begins with infinite possibilities. You never know just where your day will take you!

If you are living from a place of choosing love on repeat, the possibilities sound like a lot of fun. But when we’re in a state of fear, this unknown can feel quite daunting!

2. Never-ending “to dos.”

Constant fear often manifests itself into our day-to-day routine. When operating from a high level of fear, the things we accomplish day to day feel more like things we “have to do” rather than things we “want to do.”

Why? Well, when we have fears about life and the future, our realities become structured around our fears. We stick to routines that we believe on some level will keep us safe, even though we don’t enjoy them much. We take the extra precautions, we stick with the job we don’t like, we tiptoe around situations and people we are afraid of. Instead of bounding through life joyfully, we micromanage our schedule in an attempt to minimize our pain.

However, the Law of Attraction brings to us a reality that matches our beliefs and feelings about the world. If we have structured our day around avoiding fearful outcomes, sadly, the universe will bring us more fearful outcomes. There will always be something that needs to be done to keep you “safe and protected.”

And that’s the grand irony of the whole thing. Protecting yourself obsessively only puts you at greater risk for stress and overwhelm.

If this sounds familiar, here’s an article you may enjoy.

3. It’s hard for you to enjoy the moment.

When we are in a state of fear, invariably, we have projected our consciousness into the future. Fear, in it’s most basic state, is an emotion caused by worrying about “what’s going to happen.”

This means that being happy exactly where you are becomes a less frequent phenomenon in your life. An otherwise blissful moment is frequently interrupted by stressful thoughts over what’s to come next.

If enjoying the present poses challenges currently for you, consider adding meditation to your daily routine. Also, feel free to check out the video below:

I hope this article has been useful in helping to identify if fear is a major player in your life right now. Remember, even if fear has a hold over your life right now, it certainly doesn’t have to continue to do so.

At the end of the day, stepping outside of fear just boils down to a simple choice. Day-by-day, moment-by-moment choose love over fear. Choose to move toward what you want, rather than away from what you don’t want.

The more you can choose love over fear, the greater of a stronghold love will take in your life, and the quicker the fears will fade out of the picture. Building your dream life is a simple as choosing love over and over again.
