All the love in the world

“All the love in the world” was written by guest contributor, Babajide Faseyi

I received a birthday card from my sister and she signed it by saying: “All the love in the world.” So I thought about what that means to wish someone all the love in the world. What does that really mean?

I would say that it means one person wishes the other person all the love that there is. It would mean that one person wishes the other to know that they are loved wholly and completely.

It would be a way of saying: my love for you is not partial, it is complete. And I want you to know that I am so rich when it comes to love that I have all the love in the world to give.

This way of loving comes from a belief that love is not a scarce resource. Because if you have all the love in the world to give without being afraid that there will be no more love left for you, it is almost certain you would also believe that all people have the access to an unending source of love within.

I just felt really happy to read that from my sister. And indeed she is so loving because get this: she first sent my birthday card to my old address. But then she remembered I wasn’t there anymore so she sent another one to my new address. And it was in there that she wrote all the love in the world which touched my heart really deeply.

Blessings,

About the Author:  My name is Babajide Faseyi.  I was born and raised in Nigeria and then moved to the United States for college at the age of 19.  In my 20’s, I became acutely aware that there was more to life than I had been taught and this led me to a deep search.  I read voraciously.  After a period of disillusionment with not having an outlet for the creativity that I felt within myself, I encountered Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now.  And thus, the journey of knowing who I truly am and the discovery of what I have to offer creatively began.  The links to my facebook pages where my writings are posted are –facebook.com/bababajide and facebook.com/babajideinc
