Get Advice From Your Spirit Guides Even If You’re Not Psychic (Easy)!

If you’ve never spoken with your spirit guide, it might seem a bit ridiculous to even try.  However, sometimes we can’t see the forest for the trees, and it might be beneficial to consult with a spirit guide who can.

The beauty of this strategy is that it does not require that you are a “real” psychic.  Anyone can use this easy strategy, and it doesn’t take any formal training or practice to use it effectively. I use this strategy daily to receive advice from my spirit guides.

In this easy strategy, I use a digital clock to get advice for questions that can be answered with a simple a simple “yes” or a “no” (e.g., “Should I go out with my friends tonight?”).

To implement this strategy, I first ask the question clearly in my mind.  Then I ask my guide to answer my question by the time on the nearest digital clock.  Here are my rules for answering my “yes” or “no” questions, though you could certainly make up your own:

1.For the most part, a time on the clock that is an even number  (2:48, 1:36, 8:56) means “yes.”

2.For the most part, a time on the clock that is a negative number (1:33, 5:47, 7:35) means “no.”

3.  However, repeating numbers that are considered highly sacred (like 1:11, 11:11, or 3:33) are a FIRM “yes.”

4.  Additionally, if the time changes suddenly as you look at it (goes from 1:32 to 1:33 instantaneously), the number it switched to is a FIRM answer (in that example NO would be the firm answer because the clock quickly switched to an odd number).

5. Finally, numbers that are palindromes (like 2:42, 3:53, 1:31) mean that you could go either way, and you can pick whichever direction you want.  In other words, there is no advantage to one side over the other, or the result is not yet decided.

Again, if you want to make up your own rules, that is perfectly fine.  Just define what your rules are  clearly in your mind and then make it your intention that your spirit guide will answer your questions based on your specific rule set.

One key piece of advice for this strategy is to be sure that you trust the responses you receive from your spirit guide. Ask once, and only once.  If you send a message to your guides that you don’t trust their answers by second guessing them, they will not bother to communicate with you accurately.

I’ve found that by asking “yes” or “no” questions, and then trusting the responses, my guides are accurate; they never steer me wrong.  It’s a great way for me to get quick guidance from beyond to help answer questions when I am not sure of which direction I should take.  I hope you find this strategy as useful as I do!

I was reading this article and got a doubt .
As per point no.4 if time changes to odd ,it means NO.

what does it mean if odd time changes to even…?

    Thanks ,

Hi Jayati! In my rules, I would consider that a firm “yes” if the time was changing right after I asked the question. However, you can make up your own rules. The idea is to get a system in place that you can ask for feedback when you are looking for clarity 🙂

Doreen virtue’s new app has this feature of yes/no and when answers. Its called archangel michael’s guidance app. Sometimes a message pops up on my phone and it resonates with what i had asked the universe or what should i be actioning in the present moment.

I love your strategy too that you have described above. I used to do that but when i get 11:11 or 111 or 333 numbers then i wonder what was i thinking at that time when i saw these number. I feel i think multiple things at once so its hard for me to track.

I really like this strategy. One question: After asking your question, when do you look at the clock? Do you allow a few minutes before checking the time? I’m assuming you don’t look at the time right before asking your question ☺
