7 Fantastic LOA New Year’s Resolutions
Lose weight. Save money. Stop smoking. Exercise more. Sound familiar? These tired New Year’s resolutions are so common that millions of dollars of marketing are spent every year to promote products and services related to these goals. Don’t believe me? Turn on the TV on January 1 and count how many weight loss commercials you see. It’s staggering.
So, you say, what’s the problem with these goals? Well, in truth, nothing. I personally think it’s great that so many people want to improve their health and well-being. If you’re wanting to achieve these goals, I wish you luck and I hope you achieve your goal!
However, for my Law of Attraction-savvy friends, I recommend a different approach to New Year’s resolutions. Instead of focusing on reaching our individual life goals, I think focusing on raising your vibration is a far superior resolution, and there are many ways you can do this!
The nice thing about resolving to raise your vibration is that it will probably be a little easier to achieve than many of the traditional resolutions. Raising your vibration is a goal that isn’t as loaded with negative expectations and pressure, and it’s also something that is fun to do.
Even better, when you raise your vibration you get into alignment with all of your goals, including weight loss and other health concerns. Therefore, choosing a resolution to raise your vibration is like killing two birds with one stone.
So, without further adieu, here are a list of LOA New Year’s Resolutions for 2016. Pick a couple that sound like fun, and see where they take you this upcoming year.
LOA New Year’s Resolutions #1: Stop Complaining
Complaining drags down your vibe and attracts unwanted circumstances. Eliminate complaining from your to-do list in 2016.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #2: Reduce your use of the words no, not and don’t
According to Law of Attraction specialist Michael Losier, we often use these words when we are focusing our energy in a direction that attracts unwanted things. For example “don’t jump on the couch!” places additional focus on someone jumping on the couch, and therefore attracts more couch-jumping into your reality.
How to replace these words? It’s pretty easy. Instead of “don’t jump on the couch!” try “please sit on the couch.” Instead of “no talking in the library,” use “silence in the library please.” Instead of “don’t touch the glass!” give “keep your hands to yourself” a whirl.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #3: Practice some sort of daily meditation
Meditation is great for raising your vibration, and the benefits of meditation are well-documented. Just 10-15 minutes a day can do wonders for your quality of life.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #4: Practice daily gratitude
We get more of the things we focus on, so we might as well say “thank you” for the things we appreciate in our lives a little more, right? Consider keeping a daily gratitude journal, or saying a quick thank you prayer every morning or right before bed.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #5: Let shit go
So often we get totally wound up over little, insignificant hassles, and this just creates negative momentum that can ruin our day. So, instead of reacting to the driver that cut you off, the long line at the grocery store or the spilled milk, pause, breathe deep and let it go.
The more we practice letting the little things go, the easier it gets, and the less irritating circumstances enter our reality. Practicing non-reaction is an excellent goal for anyone who wants their reality to be more peaceful and smoother sailing.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #6: Make fun a daily priority
We get more of what we do in life, and without daily fun, life can become a real bore. How many people are chained to work and responsibilities, and only allow themselves to have a little fun on the weekend?
As Abraham-Hicks says, “Life is supposed to be fun!” So make sure to infuse each day with a few activities that make your heart sing.

LOA New Year’s Resolutions #7: Be kind to yourself
Have you ever sat in front of the mirror and picked apart your physical flaws? Do you ever make fun of yourself, or habitually tell other people about your mistakes? Does the voice in your head ever shamelessly criticize you?
Chances are, we’ve all been there, so you are in good company if you said “yes” to any of these things! However, consider this: people treat us the way we treat ourselves.
So if you want more love and kindness in your life, make sure to treat yourself the way you wish to be treated. Create a daily routine to think about your positive attributes. Stand in the mirror and point out the things you like about your body. Give yourself a pep-talk when you’re feeling down. Be a friend to yourself.
